With our street, laid out in the early twentieth century but only slowly developed, it's revealing where early references to it think it is. Now, it's in Ponteland, but a century ago it was a long way up the hill from Ponteland and was sometimes described as being in High Callerton, perhaps with the qualification ("Darras Hall Estate")
